Shrimp Boil

Young and old and everyone in between agree, the Shrimp Boil is a night to relax and just have a good time while  visiting with friends and neighbors.  The Shrimp Boil is a favorite tradition of the community which has been held for over 30 years, and it pulls a crowd of approximately 1,200 people each year.
 The fabulous Pee Wee Bowen and the Moonlighters Band will share the stage with a great singer and entertainer, Thomas Dickerson.  Entertainment and   dancing begins at 6:00pm. Put on your dancing shoes and bring a friend!   
 James Bergeron, back for his third year, is the Shrimp Boil master cook. We will have that true Cajun taste as James and his crew prepare the shrimp and fixins'. 
 Ray Brooks, Sr. Vice President of Marathon Petroleum, returns to Texas City, to prepare his famous spicy Jambalaya!
