Job Description
Marketing and Events Manager: 

GENERAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Develop and Enhance the Chamber brand; Create and maintain exceptional Chamber events; Create and deliver exceptional sponsorship value; Direct successful completion of chamber projects; Ensure strong communication with the membership; Provide a valuable opportunity for Chamber member engagement;
-Design and implement Chamber marketing efforts along with new marketing avenues
-Develop and lead Chamber marketing plan
-Develop and lead social media marketing plan
-Manage all aspects of web site
-Review local media to measure marketing success
-Manage and create the annual sponsorship program for all events and programs
-Solicit and fulfill event sponsorship commitments
-Oversee the successful completion of Chamber Membership Directory
-Lead the effort in maximizing membership utilization of website
-Plan, supervise and implement all chamber events
-Create and adhere to event budgets
-Responsible for working within budget for successful results of individual events,   programs, etc. to meet or exceed goals                       
-Make technology improvement suggestions
-Assist with committees or programs as directed
-Seek out innovative sources of non-dues income
-Positively represent the Chamber in the community
-Recommend cost saving measures as appropriate
-Master ChamberMaster usage
-Any other responsibilities deemed necessary
Essential Skills:  Minimum 2 years event and project management, demonstrated writing composition aptitude, website and marketing graphics skills, reporting abilities, experience analyzing information, excellent inter-personal skills, effective communication capabilities, budget analysis and strategy, development and implementation, demonstrated project management and organizational skills, Microsoft Office skills.
Minimum Qualifications:  An evident combination of education and experience which demonstrates a clear, documented achievement of and success in the job duties and skills identified.  Ideal candidate will possess a minimum of an Associate Degree.
