In 2008\, Doreen left Dell to become an entrepreneur and founded Mainland Testing Center\, the first full-service occupational wellness clinic in Galveston County.  The company became a certified Port of Houston vendor\, won state and federal service contracts\, and was named an Emerging 10 Company and a winner of the BBB Pinnacle Award.  In her business plan\, the exit strategy was to sell the company\, which she did in 2018.\n\n\n\nIn August 2019\, she became a licensed realtor and found her passion for helping others achieve their American dream of home ownership.  Doreen is a member of the Coldwell Banker/TGRE Brokerage in Galveston. \n\n\n\nShe is also a columnist with Galveston Daily News\, "Out and About with Doreen\," and a certified John Maxwell coach\, teaching leadership at College of the Mainland.
