Business Development Manager (Engineering/Staffing)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Identify & research competitors and prospective clients
- Market T&H lines of business to current and/or prospective clients
- Participate in RFQ/RFP review as needed
- Participate in contract negotiations with client procurement representatives
- Develop, coordinate and maintain effective multimedia presentations for use as collateral sales tools.
- Develop and cultivate a strong network of contacts to help expand and develop client relationships and/or to identify new business opportunities
- Participate in industry networking opportunities as lead T&H representative
- Participate in weekly operations meeting and provide weekly operations reports
- Develop annual budget/forecast for business development
- Participate in annual strategic planning and GAP analysis meetings
- Attend educational seminars as appropriate
- Collaborate with CEO and other corporate staff to create pricing models based on client needs
- Practice sales/business ethics that follow and support T&H standards.
- Maintain all client related data, contacts and activities in Customer Relationship Management System, CRM,
- Execute with a results-oriented approach with demonstrated ability to deliver revenue in line with time and revenue forecast
- Associate’s degree and/or equivalent Business Development and/or Account Management experience (2+ years) in the oil & gas industry, preferably downstream sector
- Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
- Basic knowledge of refining and petrochemical industries
- Public speaking /presentation skills
- Technical writing skills for proposals
- Ability to read, comprehend, and analyze complex data
- Strong negotiation skills
- PPE is provided and must always be worn when required to enter a client site.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, squat, and sit for extended periods of time.
- Able to endure exposure to significant levels of heat, cold, moisture, air pollution and noise.
- Must be willing to travel to customer facilities and job sites
- Availability for before/after hours client meetings as required
