About Us

Lifeline of Galveston County is a grassroots 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to saving and improving the lives of pets across Galveston County. Founded in 2020, our mission is to create a future where no shelter pet is euthanized for lack of space and every family has access to the resources they need to keep their pets healthy and home. Through innovative community programs, lifesaving partnerships, and an active foster and adoption network, Lifeline has placed hundreds of animals into loving homes each year. We believe that compassion, collaboration, and education are the foundation of a stronger, more humane community. Whether it’s caring for neonatal kittens, supporting struggling pet owners, or helping municipal shelters reach no-kill status, Lifeline of Galveston County is committed to being the bridge between need and hope.
