Service Organizations
The Salvation Army seeks to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and meet human needs in His name without discrimination. In Galveston County, we do that through emergency and transitional sheltering, emergency financial assistance, food pantry and community meals at our Center of Hope Shelter in Galveston and we have an after-school program and Summer Day camp our Red Shield Youth Center in Texas City.
