Amy Musick

Originally from Southern Maine, Amy moved to Texas in 2000 to attend Texas A&M University at Galveston and earned her B.S. in Marine Biology. While teaching for Galveston ISD, Amy earned her M.Ed. in School Administration from Lamar University. After 12 years in the classroom, she joined SMART Family Literacy. Serving multiple years on the Board of Directors of the Children's Coalition in Galveston made the transition to Early Childhood Literacy a natural one. As the Assistant Director of SMART Family Literacy, Amy hopes to create more of a presence for the organization in the northern portion of Galveston County.
