(Texas City, TX) — Following approval by the Board of Trustees (BOT) on Aug. 26, 2024, College of the Mainland (COM) has selected the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) to conduct a national search for its next president.
With a proven track record in assisting community colleges across the nation, ACCT will lead the search to identify the ideal candidate to succeed Dr. Warren Nichols, who will be retiring from his role as president in July 2025.
The BOT will establish a presidential search (Texas City, TX) — College of the Mainland (COM) invites local construction subcontractors to attend its Bond Construction Networking Forum from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Monday, September 16, 2024. The event will take place at the COM Conference Center, Room 135A, located at 1200 Amburn Road, Texas City, Texas 77591. This informational meeting will provide an opportunity for subcontractors to learn about upcoming COM Bond 2023 projects and explore ways to contribute to the College’s growth.

Guests were treated to a night filled with great entertainment, dancing, delicious food, cocktails, and more while raising $58,500 to benefit the youth in Devereux Texas’ Autism Intensive Residential Program.
