AMOCO Federal Credit Union Expands in League City

League City, TXAMOCO Federal Credit Union is expanding its geographical footprint in Galveston County, with its future Magnolia Creek Branch breaking ground in July 2024. The 3,100 square-foot building will be located near the corner of Bay Area Blvd & W League City Pkwy (4510 W League City Pkwy). This branch location will offer a fully staffed lobby, in-branch Video Banking kiosks, and an Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) drive-thru service. ITMs provide enhanced ATM access and live teller assistance, allowing members to do everything they would at a traditional drive-thru, including cash deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, balance inquiries, check deposits, and much more.

The plan to open a branch on the west side of League City has been in the works for some time. AMOCO sees this as an excellent opportunity to provide credit union services to the growing community and serve its existing members in the area. The location, infrastructure, and surrounding communities were all considered when choosing this site as the next branch.

In addition to the Magnolia Creek Branch, AMOCO intends to revitalize its original location in Texas City to provide a new branch experience and help rejuvenate Texas Avenue.  “We’re excited to build on our legacy in the community where it first started,” said Gail Figueroa, chief administration officer. AMOCO looks forward to engaging with new communities, businesses, and individuals by offering a suite of financial products and services, competitive deposit and loan rates, access to over 55,000 surcharge-free ATMs, exceptional personalized service, and much more. If you’re not already a member, you can join at www.amocofcu.org or visit a branch near you.
