We will discuss osteoporosis and other aspects of bone health important to women of all ages.
Shibi Abhilash Kunjumon, MSN, RN, FNP-C, CCRN, CVRN
Ms. Kunjumon is a family nurse practitioner who graduated from UTMB in 2015 and is currently enrolled in a doctoral program in nursing at the UTMB School of Nursing. For the past three years she has worked in the UTMB Bone Health Clinic where she can share with patients her passion for preventing fragility fractures in our society.
Gordon Klein, M.D.
Dr. Klein is senior scientist and adjunct professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation at UTMB. He is a fellow of the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research and an Overseas Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine in London. Dr. Klein founded the Bone Health Clinic in the UTMB Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in 2015, a program now run by Shibi Kunjumon, NP.Images
