About Us

SYNERGY HomeCare of Texas City is owned and operated by husband-and-wife Alex and Christina Hernandez, who have ample experience caring for others.

Alex and Christina serve residents in Texas City, Galveston, Santa Fe, Tiki Island, La Marque, Bayou Vista, and Hitchcock with various non-medical care options, from companion care to personal and respite care.

After receiving her nursing degrees at UTHealth and UTMB Galveston School of Nursing, Christina has been a nurse for almost 10 years, working in the Texas Medical Center as an ICU RN. Alex was a Plant Manager/Supervisor after receiving his associate degree at the College of the Mainland in Texas City.

Both Alex and Christina have had to care for family members with chronic illnesses. Christina’s father was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2021, and she has been the main caregiver for him. Alex’s uncle was diagnosed with bile duct cancer, and he was the main caregiver, providing aid, support, and transportation.

The Hernandez’s goal is to provide quality and compassionate care to their clients. With their professional and personal experience in caregiving, they can seamlessly create opportunities for others while establishing themselves in their community.

??SYNERGY HomeCare of Texas City provides an array of non-medical care options. Companion care includes assistance with cooking, shopping, running errands, light housekeeping, and other tasks that allow clients to live independently. Personal care provides assistance with bathing, dressing, using the toilet, and other activities of daily life.
