Sea Star Base Galveston is a 501c3 Nonprofit providing programs for youth, persons with disabilities, and the underserved. SSBG is also an events center for weddings and special events. Established in 2010 to solely support the growing needs, and lack of funding to Texas schools, of Santa Fe ISD, Foundation funds enable innovative opportunities to enhance the curriculum.
