A Fun and Successful Evening at Yawl Ketch the Spirit… of Devereux!

August 9, 2024 – DEVEREUX ADVANCED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TEXAS– The highly anticipated Yawl Ketch the Spirit… of Devereux event sailed to success amidst a wave of generosity and fun, with 150 guests in attendance sporting their best nautical chic flair.
 
Guests were treated to a night filled with great entertainment, dancing, delicious food, cocktails, and more while raising $58,500 to benefit the youth in Devereux Texas’ Autism Intensive Residential Program.
 
The distinguished master of ceremonies, Suzi Hanks, professional auctioneer, and former on-air radio personality, expertly guided the Nauti-Cool-themed event from start to finish. The exhilarating live auction featured Men on Fire, a Houston Firefighter Experience. It was so popular that it sold twice!
 
Guests enjoyed a fun heads-or-tails game, in which winners Carole Ryan, Kathy Brennock, and Bonnie Graham each took home a share of the whiskey barrel full of booze. Jennifer Bowers was elated to win the designer Louis Vuitton package raffle, generously sponsored by Clean Coast Supply.
 
The silent auction boasted an array of fabulous packages such as a lavish 5-night stay at the Villa Aldora in Cozumel, complete with 3 days of diving; a breathtaking sunset cruise on a Saberline 48’ departing from Lakewood Yacht Club; and a stunning 18” Druzy & Blue Topaz necklace from Collard Jewelers, among other exclusive items.
