TNMP Asks Customers to Celebrate National Lineman Appreciation Day

(Lewisville, TX) - On April 18 each year, the nation comes together to celebrate National Lineman Appreciation Day, a day dedicated to honoring the men and women who work tirelessly to keep the power flowing to homes and businesses. During storms and natural disasters, line workers are often the first to respond, working long hours in dangerous conditions to restore power to affected areas. Their efforts bring relief and hope to those impacted by disasters.

"Every day, rain or shine, our line workers are ready to answer the call of duty," said Neal Walker, President of TNMP. "Their mission is simple yet crucial: to ensure that others have the safe and reliable electricity they depend on."

This year, TNMP joins the celebration, recognizing the hard work and dedication of its line workers. To thank them for the hard work they do, we are asking you to take some time and send them a virtual “Thank You” note.

The “Thank a Lineman” webpage is now live and will stay up until the end of April. Through this website, employees, families, and customers will have a chance to show their gratitude to TNMP line crews!

If you want to thank a TNMP crew, simply go to TNMPthankyou.com where you can send a personal “Thank You” card to the TNMP linemen.

"We are proud to recognize our line workers as heroes," added Keith Nix, Vice President of Operations. "They are more than just workers; they are the ones who keep the lights on and help keep our communities running."

We have also created a Lineman Appreciation Day video featuring several of our TNMP linemen that you can watch by clicking here!
